Hello, been wanting to learn more about viruses since I know basically nothing and I'm trying to find a good beginner friendly book to read so I can learn what they actually are lol. Paid no attention in school so my basic knowledge is very lacking. Mitochondria is the powerhouse of the cell or something. So what are some good books I can read? I don't mind if it's written in a boring or academic way as long as it contains all the basic information I need to know. Also preferable if it includes info about covid 19. And as a final side note I'm not really looking for books that discuss social or historical impacts of viruses. Just the scientific how does this thing work. Thanks a lot!
