Hey all

I guess to get started, heres some stuff about me looks wise. Im about 6'1, and last I checked im around 140lbs, so im on the skinnier side. Ive got a ton of curly brown hair on my head, a decent amount of hair on my arms, and while i prefer to be clean-shaven, im lazy so theres always some hair on my face (its not patchy just short.)

As for the other (arguably more important) stuff, im a sophmore at UIUC studying music. Im also doing premed classes too cause why not. Ive been learning guitar for a little over a year now, and i sing. Voice was my primary instrument but i had to drop the class last semester which is kinda sad (hoping i can rejoin next semester though!). But, ive still got choir. On the topic of music, i dont necessarily have a favorite genre. If it sounds good then thats enough for me. Though i do have preferences for stuff like tone or vibe dependin on my mood. As far as interests go i spend most of my time just reading webcomics (manga manhwa webtoon, that sorta thing), scrollin through YouTube and watchin anime whenever the good ones update. I do have a dnd campaign goin on with some friends every friday which is pretty fun. Personality wise i can be pretty loud when im excited and around people i like, assuming ive got something to say anyway which, isnt very often. I prefer listening to people talk about stuff they find interesting or are passionate about. I know a least a little bit about most things so i can hopefully engage with you about what you like. For the most part im fairly timid around new people, though i try not to be.

Given that last part and the fact this post exists, i dont think itd be too hard to figure out why im here. Im too nervous to approach new people for anything really, and even with friends i struggle to ask for stuff as little as hugs. To be totally honest, im not really looking for a romantic relationship. Ive got my own stuff goin on and i just dont think id be a good romantic parter right now. Thats not to say id turn down a new friend though, hell knows I need more of those. Honestly i think what im looking for is someone im comfortable with who's willing to indulge me when im feeling touch starved which, assumin all goes well and we get along, would (i hope) involve one or both of us losin our v-cards.

As for who im looking for as far as looks go, someone around my build and a few inches shorter than me, and around my age (18 bare minimum though) is the basic gist of "my type." Long hair is pretty but short hair is cute so either works for me. Honestly as long as youre nice looking thats good enough for me. Same goes for a lot of physical attributes actually, height and build not withstanding. I will say though, no matter who you are and what you look like, id want a decent conversation about our expectations for whatever this is are, assuming we get that far.

I cant really host and i can only go as far as the busses will take me, but i can probably work something out.

As a final bit, im goin home to orland park for break once finals are done, so if youre near there feel free to respond. I'll probably make another post sometime then assumin no one responds by then.
