Our voyage is about 10 months away (Istanbul, Santorini & More - May 2025), and we are flying into Athens a few days early. Time to book our hotel!

Here are some possibilities that We've come up with so far:

1. Acropolis View Hotel (around $180/night)
   
2. Enteka Acropolis Suites (around $180/night)
   
3. Divani Palace (around $400/night) - nice, but might be a bit expensive for our budget.
   
4. Hotel Plaka (around $160/night)
   We looked at Coco-Mat Hotel, but their rooftop bar/restaurant is permanently closed and it has some recent bad reviews...

Anyone have experience with these (or other cool/groovy/convenient) places to stay? We want to be within walking distance of the must-see things like the Acropolis and Parthenon, Plaka neighborhood, etc...

Also, we are probably going to stay another night after our disembarkation, and we are thinking about staying at the airport hotel (The Sofitel Athens). Any reviews of this hotel are also appreciated!
