Hi folks,
My partner and I are considering booking our first cruise in July and browsing this reddit I came across the First Mates scheme. Didn't find a whole lot of information about it though on the Virgin website so perhaps leading me to be a bit cautious.
We contacted a First Mate that was commented in another thread on here, and very quickly came back with a quote for the cruise that we are considering that was cheaper than that listed on the Virgin Voyages website (and cheaper than a price we got when we went to a Virgin Holidays shop), included the same benefits that are listed on the VV website and included an additional benefit of ship loot.
All in it seems like we'd be crazy to book with Virgin directly, but am I missing something with the First Mates that I need to consider?
This is for a cruise sailing out of Barcelona this year and we're in the UK.
