Naked plan

So i bought the new naked 250mbps plan from virgin media here in Ireland, limerick city. I assembled it and whatnot.. it was quite easy. As i turned it on and check for my wifi connection it would say "connected without internet" i hooked up the coax cable to an old UPC wall socket here in my flat.
Question: how can i fix this? Should i return the hub 3 cause maybe the UPC wall socket is broken? Idk what to do. ðŸ˜
