Tips/resources for reading music practice
Post Body

I'm a little over a month in. My teacher is great. She stresses the importance of learning the notes without relying on markers that the practice book gives. So, she has been filling in the letters so I don't develop a crutch. However, I'm trying to find a way where I can learn the note placement better. So far we have only covered open D, open E, G, F#, and E (I know there are more notes coming, but we aren't there yet). I'm a visual learner, so I'm thinking of doing some flash cards, but wanted to know if anyone had any tips or other insights they could share. Very much appreciated in advance!
