Is there a true peaceful experience. I don't mind the bears or wolf's. I just want somthing with no drifters. I downloaded a mod claiming there would be none. Yet they still spawn. Any ideas. Need help please.

I don't know where to start. I have copper tools. I have a quern. Now how do I find limestone. I have looked for chalk and other stones that are able to grind into lime. But have had no luck. I have traveled alot. What am I missing? Please help.
