Does anyone know anything about this standing ashtray?

The seller told me it's from the 1930s. I'm just curious about it's history. Anyone know the decade it's from or the manufacturer? Clearly the glass ashtray was made for cigars, so she's lived the good life. Probably seen a few interesting parties in her day.
