Advice cleaning vintage welding glasses

Scored these super cool folding AO welding(?) glasses & they’re obviously well loved. I don’t have extra cash for a professional & I’ve read conflicting resources (for vintage/antique jewelry, not glasses) so I’m looking for tips to clean them myself. I know they won’t be pristine, but I’m asking here to hopefully avoid doing further damage!
