Hi! Would anyone sell me a Seagate ST-251N or similar SCSI drive with excellent sounding spindle bearings?
Post Body
Basically the title. I have a Mac Plus with a Cutting Edge brand external SCSI drive with this Seagate model drive in it. It works fine, but the spindle bearings sound a bit dry at times and I would like a spare drive with good bearings in it if anyone has one. My drive usually sounds a bit louder intermittently when it's cold but once it's been running for a few minutes and warms up it stops being as noisy. I don't think there's a way to lubricate the spindle motor on these but I could be wrong.
