Macintosh 512k will chime and make noise but no display

I recently purchased an Apple Macintosh 512k which was working in the photos but when it arrived when I attempt to power it there is no display just chime. Is there anything I can check and any easy diag I can do before returning the thing? I got a good deal and would hate to return it since it’s in such good shape. I can hear something spinning/rumbling but nothing further than that.
