This is my opinion and I hate I have it.
I am 45. Grew up loving the whole indie wave of the early 90’s. I grew up in a small town in Tennessee and all these films felt like “my thing” and really helped me get through some tough times.
I LOVED Kevin’s movies and they were basically part of my personality. Bought every version released to get those sweet Director Commentaries. That Chasing Amy Criterion Collection…I even got a better place and vulgar.
I don’t know if it is age or life experience but I hate how much I do not like anything Kevin has made since Jersey Girl. Red Stare good, but honestly would be a masterpiece directed by someone else.
I couldn’t stand Jay and Silent Bob reboot. Do not get the love people show Clerks III. I get what he was doing but I felt it was low quality, lazy, and generic.
You don’t need to slam me. I will always love the Viewaskew and support Kevin (I have paid to see EVERY movie of his even though I haven’t wanted to since Cop Out.
I just wish I still felt it like I used to
