I've been teaching night classes at an apartment complex for a little over a year I lost my bike ticket/keycard a few months ago and they charged me 500k and it took two hours to get the manager there before I could leave (11:30pm). I have been over stressed recently, working 12 hour days for the last two weeks, and my daughter has been in the hospital for 4 days, my wife is opening a cafe, I could go on, but you get the idea. I just wanted to go to the hospital to see my daughter before I went to sleep.
So I realized that I didn't have my key card as I was pulling up, I hand the guard 20k to pay and then slide my bike under the barrier. He gets up and tries to stop me by pulling my bike back and I just gently pull forward, being carful not to go too fast to drag him, but enough that his grip would give out, which it did. I drove off and he was yelling something. I didnt really think it through and I was just exhausted and angry st the thought of waiting another two hours and paying 500k again. As I was driving away I realised what I just did is serious (again I was half awake and more focused on other things, so stupid, I know)
What should I do? I want to apologize to the guard and give him the money I would have paid for the fine some beer, but I'm worried they will make a big deal if I come back. I don't really care about parking in the garage anymore, it will save me money to park on the street and lock my bike. The bike is in my wife's name, we have all the documentation.
