Having trouble downloading Avid Media Composer Free Trial. Please, help.

Hi, all. So, I am re-learning Avid but rather than purchase right away I decided to get the free trial version. I downloaded the installer and every time I get close to finishing the installation I get this message: "The installer encountered an error that caused the installation to fail. Contact the software manufacturer for assistance." I'm using a Macbook, version 10.15.5. I am happy to provide any other tech specs needed. Please, help. Thank you.
