Iām at a loss here. Iāve tried finding a solution in the manual but canāt find anything (but Iām no pro) but Iām getting there! My best guess is that the BMS has turned off to protect the batteries due to a low cell voltage situation but I plugged into shore power and BMS, batteries, and cerbo arenāt powering back up.
Here are the details related to the situation. 1. system has: -victron multiplus 12V 2000 VA 80 amp - victron lynx smart BMS 500 w/ lynx 1000 distributor - 2 200ah smart li victron batteries - victron mppt 150/60 smart solar - victron Orion 12/12-30 DC/DC charger - victron Cerbo
BMS is connected to cerbo via ATC pins on BMS (manual implied AUX should be used? But we havenāt had an issue until now). BMS has wire loop on pins 10/11 on the BMS
BMS and Cerbo have 0 lights on, and they wonāt show up on victron connect since Bluetooth appears to be disabled.
Lights that are present at this moment:
orange āchargerā light is on
blinking blue ābulkā light on solar charge controller
Bluetooth light for Orion
All connections are tight, no apparent damages and fuses all seem totally fine.
Iām in RI, and the week prior to this we essentially had rain everyday for a week and didnāt use the van much. I suspect we killed the batteries. In terms of loads, we had the max air fan running but that was it. Should have kept the van plugged in but we didnāt.
When plugged into shore power, all campervan functionality appears normal. Fridge turns on, stovetop is fine, lights, outlets etc. all fine.
And here are my ideas based on all this: - try powering the cerbo via AUX pins on BMS - buy a battery charger and try getting them charged up that way (if low cell voltage is the issue) Since the Orion seems powered and has Bluetooth, keep the van idling to try and charge the batteries (but why wonāt the BMS detect the charger? - BMS might just have shit the bed and causing all of this - I really hope we didnāt somehow fuck up these expensive ass batteries
