BMS / Cerbo wont power on; no Bluetooth signal for BMS, smart batteries, or Cerbo
Post Body

Iā€™m at a loss here. Iā€™ve tried finding a solution in the manual but canā€™t find anything (but Iā€™m no pro) but Iā€™m getting there! My best guess is that the BMS has turned off to protect the batteries due to a low cell voltage situation but I plugged into shore power and BMS, batteries, and cerbo arenā€™t powering back up.

Here are the details related to the situation. 1. system has: -victron multiplus 12V 2000 VA 80 amp - victron lynx smart BMS 500 w/ lynx 1000 distributor - 2 200ah smart li victron batteries - victron mppt 150/60 smart solar - victron Orion 12/12-30 DC/DC charger - victron Cerbo

  1. BMS is connected to cerbo via ATC pins on BMS (manual implied AUX should be used? But we havenā€™t had an issue until now). BMS has wire loop on pins 10/11 on the BMS

  2. BMS and Cerbo have 0 lights on, and they wonā€™t show up on victron connect since Bluetooth appears to be disabled.

  3. Lights that are present at this moment:

  4. orange ā€œchargerā€ light is on

  5. blinking blue ā€œbulkā€ light on solar charge controller

  6. Bluetooth light for Orion

  7. All connections are tight, no apparent damages and fuses all seem totally fine.

  8. Iā€™m in RI, and the week prior to this we essentially had rain everyday for a week and didnā€™t use the van much. I suspect we killed the batteries. In terms of loads, we had the max air fan running but that was it. Should have kept the van plugged in but we didnā€™t.

  9. When plugged into shore power, all campervan functionality appears normal. Fridge turns on, stovetop is fine, lights, outlets etc. all fine.

And here are my ideas based on all this: - try powering the cerbo via AUX pins on BMS - buy a battery charger and try getting them charged up that way (if low cell voltage is the issue) Since the Orion seems powered and has Bluetooth, keep the van idling to try and charge the batteries (but why wonā€™t the BMS detect the charger? - BMS might just have shit the bed and causing all of this - I really hope we didnā€™t somehow fuck up these expensive ass batteries
