Hi guys.
Yesterday I installed the smart BMS with the smart lithium, I already have 2 mppts and smart shunt. I drove around to get the battery fully charged, and I saw on the victron connect app that the alternator wasn't charging the battery, so I assume battery fully charged, also the charge enable light on the BMS was not on. All good. I have got the mppts connected to the battery ve, with the ve direct not inverting cable connecting the mppts to the charge disconnect on the BMS, and in the app I've set the Rx to remote on off. However, it looks like the mppts were in absorption mode and was putting amps into the battery (also seen on the smart shunt, a ve current being shown.) Is this ok? I was assuming if the BMS turned charging off, the mppts would not output current?
Thanks
