Is traveling to Victoria the week after Christmas worth it?

Hi! I'm a Vancouverite and I had a 3-day trip to Victora planned before Christmas. Unfortunately I got sick so we have to reschedule :( Would traveling here on the 27-30th be worth it? I was thinking of doing "touristy" stuff like Bug Zoo, Waterfront, etc. Or is everything closed due to the holidays/end of year?
Any advice is appreciated, thanks!!
Edit to add: particularly regarding the transport!! I don't have a car :")
