I want to be open about why I ask. I had a dog with Cushing’s and over the years I had her I developed a natural supplement that really seemed to help her. My vet was very encouraged by what I was doing and he suggested that I try and find a way to make it a product, which I did. It contains melatonin, HMR lignans, phosphytadylseurine and probiotic gut bacteria and we’ve seen positive results of it reducing corticosteroid production. I thought a lot of veterinarians would be interested in it since Vetoryl is a pretty strong chemo type drug that you might be reluctant to employ.
I didn’t mention the name because ethically I shouldn’t use this subreddit to advertise it and that’s not my goal here. My question really is this:
Is this a product/idea you would be interested in? If you were open to trying something like this what would be the most effective way for me to make you aware of it’s existence?
Thanks for the feedback.
UPDATE: thank you for taking the time to share your comments even though I was a bit taken aback by the condescending and even nasty tone of a few of them.
Any advice on how I might go about arranging a clinical trial for this? As a lay person I have absolutely no idea how something like that could be made to happen. Anyone out there with any ideas on how I could make it happen; clearly having proof of its efficacy is essential to having it adopted.
