I’m curious about Back Pay, I’m at 80% right now but had some things that got denied and I’m going to start the process of getting that corrected. To be more specific I’m like 84 / 85% so it’s that crunch to 90 maybe 100%.
If I filed something for disagreement and received let’s say 30% for it and got 90%, would it mean I get back pay from when they denied it in 2020 or from when my Intent to File was done?
I’m also wondering because I’m trying to help my dad get his increased and get some things services connected from when he filed back in the 2000’s. I’m trying to figure out if he would get back pay from 2005 for his back if it was service connected.
Is there a cap for when the VA denied a disability and you come back to correct it and it’s accepted as a disability?
From what I’ve heard they should back pay you from your first time you filed for it and we’re subsequently denied, just trying to figure out if that is true.
