I’ve seen a ton of posts in the past few days of people getting to 100%. That’s something to be super grateful for. If you live in Florida for example you get your property taxes waived. That’s such an amazing benefit that keeps you ahead of the curve a bit, especially when you finally own your house out right.
I don’t think I deserve to get to 100 but the 40% I’ve been lucky enough to have the past 9 years kept me afloat when I needed it the most and I’m thankful for that.
I hope you all enjoy the freedom you get from it in your own way. It will definitely help you qualify for a higher mortgage and since the markets cooling it’ll probably be easier to use a VA loan than it has been the past few years.
Anyways congrats. I hope you guys use your 100% powers for good!
