Post Body

In 2021 legislation was introduced by Veterans affairs committee chairman Jon Tester (D-Mont.) and U.S. Senator Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska) Bill S 344 A bill to end unfair Offset of Military retirement pay and disability benefits for Veterans.

This bill was submitted Feb 2021 When Covid stagnated and caused things to fall through the cracks. Almost half a million Veterans fall into this category. Many are combat veterans. I would like to know if the the VSO's and veterans at large are aware and are they supporting the passing of this bill into law?

If do. What is being done so this bill is passed or recommended by Congressional Committees to pass?

How many VSO's and Veterans are aware this is not the first time in history that similar bills have been submitted only to die because in committee, unfortunately because no one addressed it or kept it alive?

Dont let this bill die!

Dont let this bill be just be a show of intent for congress for veterans, but a bill for the greater good of the half million veterans that should be entitled to both pays? Please tell us/ all veterans how to effectively help get this bill passed? what must we do?

Interest in this bill can be read at the Congressional website and the bill is S-344. You can see the committee members, and whats been or being done to this bill.

We as veterans need to get the word out, and contact or representatives to get thos bill passed.
