I was recently awarded 100% P&T (in no small part to the advise found on this subreddit), and I was wondering under what circumstances I could lose that. Iāve read on a few posts here that filing new claims or increases on existing claims can put your P&T at risk, so Iām definitely not going to do either of those things.
When I called the VA, they told me that the specific condition that gave me the P&T was severe OSA. The person on the phone told me that the āVA doesnāt know if my OSA will ever improve, that it could go either way (improve or not improve), and that when there is a tie between those two things they give the veteran the benefit of the doubtā. With that in mind, Iām wondering what happens if My OSA does improve.
If the condition that that caused you to get P&T improves, does that affect your P&T?
Should I expect be re-examined for the other conditions I have aside from the one that caused me to get P&T?
Any other thoughts I havenāt covered here?
