I’m 100% unemployable and I was told by my local VR&E office that I have to go through thier process from start to finish (Again) to ask a counsel a question about my situation. I’ve been through the process a few times and did the ILP but that was 5 years ago and I’m 39 and SSDI denied me 3x
Login to the VA benefits letter generator. Look at the letter and see if it just say:
You are being paid at the 100 percent rate because you are unemployable due to your service-connected disabilities: yes
If it says that, you can work but cannot earn beyond a limited amount.
If it does not have that line and only say
You are considered to be totally and permanently disabled due solely to your service-connected disabilities: yes
You can work all you want with no income restrictions.
Being permanent and total does not mean unemployable. Total disability individual unemployability means you cannot work and if you drop that unemployability, you lose total 100% rate payment and get paid at your lower rate.

That means you don’t have the unemployability stipulation. You don’t have to drop it because you don’t have it. You’re permanent and total, different from TDIU. You can work and make whatever amount you want without it affecting your P&T.
