I was rated 10% for tinnitus and 0% for hearing loss. Had my exam with a psych for my ptsd claim. The psych told me that she is diagnosing me with Severe depression, Anxiety, and PTSD. She also acknowledged suicidal ideation. ( I'm ok, I just wake up not wanting to be here most days. I have a wife and kids so I stay for them. No matter how hard my bad days are. I stay for them.) she had to notify the crisis line to reach out and check. My VSO had me do an intent to file for any secondaries. Which the psych told me my ptsd is definitely a cause/also flares up my migraines, stomach acid reflux, and my high blood pressure. All which I'm on medication for all. My questions to you guys are:
One. Anyone have any luck with connecting these secondary conditions?
Two. How long roughly after an exam for ptsd do they take to make a decision? I've turned in all my personal records from previous 5150 holds and hospitals. Hate to sound greedy but we can really use the Healthcare and the money. Times are a little tight right now. Any insight or if anyone has similar experiences I'd appreciate it. Thanks.
