G.I bill eligible service
Post Body

Hey everyone. So I’m currently trying to get my G.I bill percentage increased being that I have additional time in service. I’ve done regular army (time accrued got me 60%), and did most of my remaining time in the Army national guard. While in the guard, I’ve been on title 32 502(f) orders in response to COVID which they’re finally counting after fighting for it, and also title 32 502 (f) orders for recruiting, which I’m being told doesn’t count. I opened a supplemental claim so they can look more into it to see why that time shouldn’t count, but even the V.A representative I spoke to on the phone said that after reviewing my DD-214 and the orders that she didn’t understand why that time didn’t count either. So basically I said all that to ask, am I missing something? Why is dod saying that’s non-qualifying service? The screenshot attached is from the e-benefits website.
