Almost 2 Year waiting on a Intial claim what do I do
Post Body

I’ve started my claim in January of 2023. In March my claim was moved to eveidence gathering. In December that year I submitted more documents as I waited for service treatment record. This was due to being medically separated the month prior. In July 2024 finally had c&p exams after having to call Vera since it still wasn’t done. Now in October was told they received service treatment records and that they had one month to update. One month later they are still asking for service treatment records.

At this point I’m trying to figure what I can even do to finish my claim. This is an initial claim. I provided medical records that were online don’t remember the site but it was linked through Va website. I made an appointment with Vera for today but I’d like some guidance if any for what I could even do in this situation.
