AGR or Technician?

There’s a great possibility to move into an AGR or a Technician position in my Air National Guard unit coming up at the end of the year. I don’t know which position I should take due to the fact that I have started to submit claims for VA disability and that Im also 48 years old. I have accumulated 4 years of active duty service and have been deployed several times.
