About two weeks ago I complained to my pcp about having constant dizziness with headaches as well as a constant pulsing in my right ear (I am SC for tinnitus). I was told to come in for some blood work last week, so I did. I thought they were checking for some abnormalities but nope...found out that what they did was a drug test. My nurse has since contacted me back and stated that he saw no issues as to why I would have any of these symptoms and to go to the ER if I can't put up with them.
I have had problems with this guy constantly downplaying symptoms I have had only to find out they were more than what he says they are (ex. Had pneumonia last year that he brushed off as just a head cold and sent me home and when I broke my ankle in April he told me to just put some ice on it, despite the giant baseball-sized knot on the side).
I live in a small town area and the next VA center is over 30 miles away. Not sure what to do here. Any advice would be more than appreciated.
