VA Disability Claims :claim:

The VA sent me a paper check for my disability back pay and it got lost in the mail. They had to initiate a “trace payment” to locate the lost check before they can finally pay me via direct deposit. It has been 4 weeks and they say it can take up to 6. What if they don’t locate the check? How long does this usually take? Why can’t they just cancel the check and pay me via direct deposit? I have called multiple times for an update and they can’t do anything to help me. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. I really need this check and i was supposed to receive it over a month ago
