Good morning, just want to say thank you to everyone for posting and giving answers. Has helped out tremendously with some of questions and healthcare.
I recently tried to get migraines on my rating but was denied. I don’t understand when I didn’t have any issues mentally until after my service. My current rating is 90%.
70% for PTSD, 40% Temporomandibular jaw disorder with bruxism, bilateral. 10% for tinnitus. And a few for lower back pain and bad knees. Which totals for my 90%. I was a 92m (mortuary Affairs Specialist)
The VA doctor prescribed me sumatriptan for my migraines. I went through the VA and saw the neurologist as well and they sent me a machine called cefaly to help with the migraines. Doesn’t do anything for it. Even though all these are service connected and documented I was still denied the second time for the migraines. It sucks because with my ptsd and the Tmj is what’s triggering my migraines.
Should I just give up and just leave it? Or is there something else i can do to show proof it’s connected?
