I got diagnosed with PTSD after coming back from Afghanistan and being sexually assaulted by another man. I ended up being charged with article 112a after someone telling on me for smoking fake weed in Okinawa ONE TIME. My unit sent me to the brig for this. If anyone knows Oki, the brig is on camp Hansen and is right next to the grenade range. I accepted a separation in lieu of trial and OTH. After the Hagel and Kurta memos and the cases with Kennedy and Manker my discharge was upgraded and the reason for separation on my dd214 went from separation in lieu of trial to secretarial authority. What are my chances of getting a favorable COD so I can receive benefits from VA?
