So I see a lot of people say not to tell family or friends your VA rating so my question is, who should you be comfortable telling my rating to. My brother is an Army vet and younger brother is currently serving as a Marine and my father is also a retired Marine with 0 disability rating and who actually pushed me to submit a claim in the first place considering I’ve been out for almost 5 years and have just now submitted my claim. I don’t want them to feel like I’m hiding or beating around the bush with them considering they somewhat know how the process works. I’m also married and would like to share that information but also don’t want it being thrown in my face later on down the road yet I feel like it’s important info to share with someone like a spouse. I work full time but if anything where to ever happen I don’t wanna be looked at as someone relying on the government for assistance or be considered as a lazy POS
