Gi-Bill question
Post Body

Hello everyone ,

So I got myself into some trouble and am getting separated from the army with a General โ€œunder honorable โ€œ Discharge. I have over 8 years of service (3 years Army, and 5 years in the Marine Corps) . my question is , would my time of Honorable service in the Marine corps count towards qualifying for my GI-Bill or does my army time take that away because of my new discharge status . Iโ€™ve been told my a few people I should be good but I have yet to find a solid answer . Yes I know this is Reddit but I figure I ask to see if anyone who works with the VA is on here and could answer or if someone in a similar situation could share some experience. Thanks a lot for any help
