Heads up for C&Ps
Post Body

I found out today while filing a FOIA to complain about my examiner (the rant is in my post history) that you can have your doctor fill out a DBQ if they're qualified. I'm not sure if the VA will send you to someone else anyways, maybe somebody can speak to that, but I'm sure having a DBQ filled out along with a treatment record longer than a single exam couldn't hurt your chances if you get the misfortune of having a bad examiner. I just wanted to share that for anyone who's fighting a bad exam and didn't know. Good luck and godspeed on your ratings everyone!

Edited because I messed up on the abbreviation. Your doctor can fill out a DBQ. You still need to go to the scheduled C&P exam, this is potentially an option if you had a bad evaluator. I'm submitting a letter of complaint along with a DBQ from my main therapist to ask them to substitute it.
