Rhinitis polyps

How do we prove we get polyps if in the exam there are not currently any happening?
I’m going into my C&P exam tomorrow for rhinitis secondary to gerd and I get the polyps and obstructed nasal passageways but the severity of both conditions vary from non existent some days to severe on others. Right now I don’t seem to be doing too bad which for once sucks because I can’t point to it and say “see!”
