Just a little heads up for anyone who has the absolute pleasure of Optum Serve making any of their C&P Exams.
I had a last minute schedule change at work. I work 24 on 48 off (Firefighter) and switched shifts. So, the VA appointment I have tomorrow no longer works. I called them and let them know I needed to reschedule the appointment because of my shift change and the lady on the phone, who was extremely hard to understand, told me âsorry we canât. You canât reschedule in under 24 hours.â So I told her âok maâam. Well I will be at work because my schedule changed. I will not be there.â She then put me on hold, then came back onto the phone and said she cancelled the appointment as well as the 3 future appointment and 2 pending appointments.
WHAT? I told her there were no scheduling conflicts with the current future appointments. However, apparently it is their policy that you canât reschedule with less than 24 hours notice and if you cancel, they cancel all future appointments.
Luckily, I called the VA and they were extremely understanding and stated I should just call them directly next time and that Optum Serve doesnât get to just decide not to allow future appointments.
So, in short, suck it Optum Serve. You shouldnât be allow to treat us that way. Cucks.
