I recently was sent to a C&P because of a mental health claim. I submitted a letter from the therapist I've been seeing since I got out stating the problems and difficulties I've been facing to supplement my claim. When I was talking to the person at the exam I asked if he was sent the letter or had any idea about it because he was still referring to my issues as adjustment disorder when my therapist wrote in the letter that I was diagnosed with depression he said he never saw, received , or would look at the letter.
I guess my question is: is it normal for them to not give that evidence to the BH examiner? Will the letter I submitted be used at all or was it for nothing? Is there a way for me to know if they use it in their decision? I'm asking because I always see posts about bringing the evidence to physical exams but now I'm not sure if I messed up and should've done something differently.
