Are there any VA dependent benefits after a stillbirth?

[Crosspost from r/veterans]

I'm the veteran (father) for a late stillbirth on 18-Jan.

I'm attempting to find VA benefits or support for my dependent wife. We got married after christmas and I submitted documents to the VA on Jan-2. VA has not processed the dependency claim yet.

We're expecting about a $2,000 bill after a 24hr stay in the labor ward. Total prior to insursnce was $10,000. Not unexpected and not crippling...but any financial support options would be a great help.

I'm unable to find information if there is any. The only info google provides is if a female veteran were to endure the process. Wife is not a veteran however. I'm at 80% if that makes a difference.

Thank you to anyone who has advice. Any info is greatly appreciated.

(Attempted to SEO the title for future veterans searching a similar situation.)
