Testosterone prescription
Post Body

Okay so I recently shifted into theVA healthcare system, including my endo shifting into community care (whom I have had for 10 years). The problem is I have been on testosterone injections since 2014 when my testosterone was found to be nearly non-existent (33). The VA is refusing to cover it stating they require I go off the medication for 12 weeks to prove my base test level now is below 264.

This cannot be correct. To tell a patient to go to the poor health state you were in without testosterone therapy to prove you need it. There has to be something else that can be done. Can anyone give me some advice here? Thank you.
