How many of you used the DAV vs filed everything yourself?

Army Vet - 11B ( no PACT Act - stationed in Alaska)

So I was awarded 30% for sarcoidosis and 10% for loss of smell and 0% for loss of taste.

Now working on refilling to increase my sarcoidosis (went from sarcoidosis of the lung to neurosarcoidosis with nodules (polyps) on my spine and in my brain area (behind left eye). I'm place of high dose, long term steroids, I get remicade infusions every 6 weeks.

Also going to refile for everything I got denied for the first time. This time though, I did my research on how to properly write a personal statement for each issue, and working on getting my NEXUS letters and DBQ's.

Should I stick with DAV (used them when I got my initial 40% rating) or do it myself?
