EDIT: PATIENT !!!!! Lol
I saw a VBA rep post that in the last year theyâve received 2,000,000 claims.
This would mean that if worked on 7 days a week, 5,479 a day.
Also stated that a lot of claims have up to 60 contentions that can take more than a month just to review records for let alone move to the next step or request more information for.
That being said donât think that your claim is just sitting back there catching dust, also donât wish that theyâd âhurry upâ and get upset if they then rush through your claim and miss vital info/evidence.
Let the process be the process, if granted you will be paid what is owed to you at the end of the day.
So you just want to put no work into getting free money to help you?
I was literally in your shoes earlier this year.
In a just as worse off homeless city (Los Angeles) and while it took a lot of my pride and ego being put down, went and got the assistance, it took A lot of leg work, paper work, and back a forth phone calls but I got over 15k in rent paid at no cost to me.
This helped me get back on my feet and to where I am now.
Sounds like you are not helping yourself at all
Have you reached out to the VA homeless programs in your area? There are programs that help with rent in times like this.
46 days is not much.
The claims go into a National que line. Doesnât matter if there are 100 issues vs 1.
Are you not able to work ?
Ahhhh I knew that, but had know idea what you were referring to until I saw my fuck up LOL, damn fat ass thumbs !
Hey, youâd think. But more folks agree than not.
So it was for some but not all. Sounds like America at its finest.
Good morning to you.
So youâll rather get evicted that ask for help?
They donât care what your rated either.
Are you unable to work ? Thatâs what Iâm asking. Like were you unable to work the type of job you were working or anytype?
My overall point is to use your bandwidth elsewhere, I suffer from anxiety as well, but the best way to get over this is by overwhelmingly occupy your mind with another stimulation.
Understood,
But being frustrated at the system that is already overworked is a waste of bandwidth.
No oneâs case (for the most part) should be priority over another.
Just like your friend that is in distress, there are 1,000s in the que just like him.
Be blessed that there is atleast system in place at all for us to be compensated at the end of the day. If this wasnât a thing then what would your friend be doing ? Finding a way to live another way.
This is how I spent my time waiting, using the bandwidth to find a way to get passed my disabilities and make a living so I didnât have to depend on the governments hurry up and wait.
Yes I know everyone is different but Iâm pretty fucked in my own way and it took a hellllll of a lot for me to get where Iâm at now, and not having to depend solely on Uncle Sam.
