Hey everyone,
I'm a little confused on the student loan discharge. I am 100% P&T and received a letter in the mail saying my loans would be discharged.
I am still a student currently using my GI bill in Chiropractic college. After this I will be using student loans for my last trimester of school, as well as, a masters program that I would like to do afterwards.
Should I deny the discharge and then try and apply in the future for a discharge once I am done with my education? Also, if I am able to work post degree would this hinder my chances of a discharge? The application process makes ot seem as if you are unable to work and that is why loans are being asked to be paid off.
I did not apply for this originally I just got a letter in the mail yesterday talking about it and informing me to make a decision within 60 days. I didn't even know this was a thing before yesterday.
Thanks!
