So I am about to lose my shit with this.
I am about to move and I want to make sure treatment records to include vaccinations and surgeries are recorded with the VA.
Everything I search comes up with how to get records FROM the VA. I need to fill out releases of information for my specific specialty care providers and I don't know who to list as the receiver of my records.
I have even called my current VA and the people I spoke to could not wrap their heads around what I was asking for, and then suggested I just wait until after I move and go to a new VA.
But, I'm still in this area, and because it seems doctors offices still insist on using the technology of 1997, they want me to either fax them my request or just hand in the form in person, I want to get this done now.
So, does anyone know how to get records released TO the VA?
