It makes my blood boil that none of the skills I developed in the service seem properly valued or understood. Then I get a degree , and teach myself dozens of skills and it still doesn’t make a difference. Thank whatever imaginary higher power you want to credit for my VA disability or I probably would be living in a box. It was supposed to be a stepping stone but instead it’s four years of my life mostly wasted.
