EDIT: I am no longer allowed to take this medication as per the Nurse Practitioner that prescribed the medicine to me. Apparently the VA has pulled Contrave from the approved drugs for weight loss ONE WEEK after I started taking the medicine. I was supposed to go to the next level of dosage tomorrow and now I am off of it cold turkey. I was offered Qsymia, but after looking at all of the side effects with that drug I am not sure if I want to take it. I am going to have to think about that one for a bit.
Recently the VA put me on a weight loss drug called Contrave? Have any of you had experience with the medication and did it work for ya? I have been jittery from it and my appetite has been almost non-existent. Heart rate also shoots up sometimes.
