So I know this is a weird question, but I’m curious to see if anyone has dealt with this.
Basically I’ve had chronic stomach issues since about 2017, which was also when I started working in an animal shelter environment. Many of our animals unfortunately had intestinal parasites. As I’m sure you can imagine, some kennels would get dirty and the animal would smear poop around, they’d lick our faces, etc. lots of opportunities for me to unintentionally get poop in my mouth despite my best efforts.
My previous medical professionals just deemed it as IBS, endometriosis and other health issues. My new doctor has finally decided to test for parasites so I’m hopeful I’ve just had a parasite all this time and with some meds I’ll get better 👍
Have you been in a similar situation?
