I have zero experience and this was my 5th day on the "job".

Do you get breaks? Our hours are 8am-1pm, then lunch from 1-2pm, and then I leave at 5pm.

We are a small clinic, but the only one in a 30 mile radius. We only have 1 vet here at a time (2 total) and 2 client rooms, just to give you an idea of the size. But we also have x-ray, surgery and lab rooms.

I am exhausted at the end of the day, and due to my internship I leave before others who stay until 5:30 or maybe later? Not sure because I'm not there at that time.

There is nowhere to sit down at all. The only time I sit is using the bathroom and lunch. The clinic is so small we use the lobby as our lunch area.

But none of the techs or kennel assistants complain so idk. I'm more of an "assistant to the kennel assistant" role as I have zero experience.

Is not taking any breaks normal?
