This is a high-stress field with a lot of turnover in general, so I'm sure plenty of people in the sub have left clinics before or the field entirely. What's made you throw in the towel in the past?
I quit my job a few months ago because I couldn’t approach my boss about anything without feeling like I was walking on eggshells. There were times when I was being put in uncomfortable situations where I couldn’t say no. I was tired of feeling like I was breaking the law everyday, and they took advantage of how new I was to the veterinary field. Not to mention a toxic work environment, poor management, and little teamwork/ appreciation. I left everyday never wanting to go back. I’m just glad now my new job is more tolerable, and way less stressful.
