The title says it all. I’ve been here about 4 weeks and I’ve seen more abuse, malpractice, and animals dying needlessly and painfully than I thought was even possible in the year 2020.
In short, I walked in to a nightmare of a clinic run by an absolute maniac who, in addition to beating his patients, pushes drugs on the side.
How, and to whom, do I report all of this once I safely make an exit? The hospital is (obviously) not AHAA certified. I am in Michigan, if that helps.
Edit: thanks to everyone recommending reaching out to the DEA/licensing board. a few of you have mentioned needing proof or documentation, and unfortunately I think that’s going to be out of the question given the way this doctor runs his practice—the vet in question is the owner, and the technicians are given little time with patients or clients. I’ve never felt so helpless.
Quitting and saving myself, and warning everyone I can not to go there, might be my only victory.
Edit 2: thank you again for all the responses, i’m really grateful for all the support and guidance. truly. this industry can be a toxic nightmare but y’all are some of the best humans i’ve ever met.
