Post Body

As some of y'all may know, Texas does not require a veterinary technician to be certified. At my job, there are currently no certified techs. There's a few people who went to school for other things, but no one with a LVT/CVT. Even at my previous job, there was 1 person I knew of who was certified.

Is it worth it to go to school and get my certification? I was talking to my MDVM and mentioned going to school to get my license. He stated that he thinks it's only worth it if you live in a state that requires a license.
